Digital Information Security in Healthcare Act (DISHA)

The Bill was released for public consultation. DISHA aims to secure patient health data in India.

Its objectives are to:

  1. standardize and regulate the processes related to collection, storing, transmission and use of digital health data;
  2. ensure reliability, data privacy, confidentiality and security of digital health data.
